BTC 2009 in name of Manama Premier League (MPL) is the First season started by the Indian Star & SuperKings Cricket Team in 2009. Many local bahrain teams are participated in this Cricketing event. Mr.Hakkim , Mr.Muntazir from Indianstar and Mr.Ghanthan, Mr.MuthuKumar from Superkings merged to give a successfull tournament.
After 2009, Indianstar and Supekings rejoined again for BTC 2010 with good investment of constructing own BTC Pitch in Busaiteen open ground. Also they hosted bahraincricket.com to expose BTC players talent in cricket. The participating teams are increased and competition starts through many BTC tournaments and other popular tournaments like HPL, JMH CUPS.
